Crossroads Group Home is a 8 bed residential facility serving males and females between the ages of 10 and 17. The Residents have been referred by Marinette County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
Crossroads offers troubled youth a caring, supportive living environment in which they can address their treatment issues while working on becoming a responsible citizen. Crossroads is staffed with dedicated, caring professionals.
When a Group Home youth enters Crossroads they work with a treatment team consisting of therapists, social workers, parents, and staff. The team focuses on counseling, behavior management, living skills, and responsibility with each youth. The team has the flexibility to target individual needs and behavioral issues.
The youth attend public schools, volunteer and work in the community, and participate in community recreational, cultural and religious activities.
Our goal is to teach the youth how to mature and grow in to young adults who live successful and independent lives.
We promote engaging Residents in activites which promote positive growth and behaviors.
All Crossroads Staff and Volunteers shall maintain in confidence all information and records on youth in this facility. A release of information form must be signed by the legal guardian before any information, including the fact that the youth is a Resident, can be released to any other agency. An exception to this rule is information subpoenaed by a court of law.
To ensure confidentiality any information about a Resident should be kept in the youth’s file and in a locked cabinet or room. Any discussion about Resident youth in public places should be avoided.
